Poupee and Pressing Tools Workshop at London Hat Week 2015
In these four sessions you will create your own unique poupee based off of Edwina’s vintage shapes. In between steps you will be shown pressing techniques using pork chops and pressing pads. Poupees and professional pressing can make the difference between the amateur looking hat and a beautifully made couture piece.
A poupee is a most indespensible millinery tool, used in the process of every hat and head piece. It is essential with the positioning of headpiece construction as well as for trimming and fitting veils.
